Ismet Şenocak: We aim to export more valuable products in hazelnut

Thirty-seven companies from Türkiye exhibited their products within the scope of green agriculture and competitive price vision at the Nuremberg Organic Food Fair (BioFach), which is described as “the world’s largest organic food fair”.

The Turkish organic sector showed suppliers from all over the world that it is the world’s organic food warehouse.

Ismet Şenocak, Member of the Board of Directors of Şenocak Food, said that organic food is a very important trend that has come to the fore in recent years and that sustainable agriculture is among the most important issues.

“We are coming to Nuremberg Organic Food Fair as an exhibitor for the first time. Previously, we came as a visitor. We can make all varieties from natural hazelnuts to hazelnuts and in the organic sense, especially in Europe, the interest in this is quite good,” Şenocak said.

Stating that 5 percent of their sales consist of the organic side, Şenocak noted, “This market is generally dominated by Europe. There is a partial demand in America. In Europe, especially more economically developed countries. Countries such as England, Switzerland, Germany and Italy are more in demand for our products.”
