In line with our sustainability vision, we are proud to realize another environmentally friendly investment. In Sungurlu, Çorum, we completed the construction of our Solar Power Plant (SPP), consisting of 2,392 panels with an installed capacity of 1,315 kWp, in August 2024 and commenced electricity production.
Thanks to this investment, we now meet all the energy used in our production processes from renewable sources; by generating approximately 30% more than our annual energy consumption, we contribute both to our country and to nature. In this way, we have taken a significant step towards eliminating our carbon footprint arising from energy consumption.
Thanks to our ground-mounted power plant, we prevent approximately 968 tons of carbon emissions per year. This environmental achievement is equivalent to adding more than 88,000 trees to nature.
